These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sumlio mobile application and any related services (together, the "App" or "Service"). The App is provided by Oleksandr Kinakh ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference, which explains how we collect and process your personal data. Please read both documents carefully before using the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You are not allowed to copy or modify the App, any part of the App, or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the App, and you also should not try to translate the App into other languages or make derivative versions. The App itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Oleksandr Kinakh.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under the age required to provide consent in your country of residence, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Terms on your behalf. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
The cost and type of subscription are available to users in the App. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store (In-App Purchase) or Google Play (Google Play Billing). The order of refund of purchase for a subscription is regulated by the Apple App Store and Google Play rules.
Some of our subscriptions include a free trial period, where you can experience the App at no cost. A subscription with a free trial period will automatically renew to a paid subscription once your free trial expires. If you decide not to be charged, cancel the subscription before the free trial ends.
Payment will be charged to your account on the Apple App Store (Apple ID) or Google Play. You choose one of our subscriptions and confirm your purchase. Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in the Manage Subscriptions section of your App Store or Google Play account settings.
All Content added, uploaded, submitted, distributed, posted to, or created using the Services by users (collectively "User Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such User Content. You represent that all User Content provided by you is accurate, complete, up-to-date, and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you represent that any User Content you create using tools accessible on the Services does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party and is otherwise in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You acknowledge that all Content, including User Content, accessed by you using the Services is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage or loss to you or any other party resulting therefrom.
You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. To operate the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, back up, and synchronize your User Content across your devices, solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not analyze, track, share, or sell your User Content. You may disable server storage to keep your data locally on your device, and you may delete your User Content from our servers at any time, either individually or by deleting your account.
When using the App, you agree that you will not:
We are committed to ensuring that the App is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the App or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the App or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you are paying for.
At some point, we may wish to update the App. The system requirements (and the requirements of any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the App to) may change, and you will need to download the updates if you want to keep using the App. We recommend that you install updates when offered, as some features may not work, or may not work correctly, on outdated versions. We do not promise that we will always update the App so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the version that you have installed on your device. We may also wish to stop providing the App and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these Terms will end; and (b) you must stop using the App and (if needed) delete it from your device.
It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the App secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware, viruses, or malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and it could mean that the Sumlio app will not work properly or at all. You are also responsible for your device and your internet connection: certain functions of the App require an active internet connection, and any data, roaming, or other charges from your mobile or network provider are your responsibility.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
The App is a tool to help you track your expenses and budget. It does not provide financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the App should be relied on as such. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
In no event shall Oleksandr Kinakh, nor any of our partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Oleksandr Kinakh from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine.
Nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country in which you reside; where such mandatory provisions apply, they prevail over these Terms.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page.
These Terms of Use are effective as of 2026-02-11.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent, but we may assign them without restriction.
